This carburetor was inspected by a mechanic and his diagnosis was as follows. The carburetor does not smell like gas which possibly means it was never run. There are some scratches to the bottom of the carburetor indicating an attempt to install it. There are some wires that were cut and taped back again but they are in proper order. Most of the bags containing wires and plugs are still sealed and closed. Temperature sensor is also brand new in box. The other sensor is opened and could have been used before. The screen is in perfect condition. The body and components of the carburetor and throttle body are in perfect working conditions as well. All in all, the item is open box and considered used but in excellent condition. The person who buys this is someone that knows how to rewire and install this item or has someone that can do it professionally. All manuals and guides are included as well.
